Penny games have taken slot floors by storm, as players have heartily embraced the 1-cent denomination. With the penny phenomenon, some have predicted an end to denomination variety as we know it today. With pennies, players instead have the power to bet a variety of ways, creating their own denomination choices. Some have predicted the slot market eventually will have predominantly dollar games and penny games. A panel of operators and manufacturers will present their takes on how penny games will affect the future of denominations.

Nothing is more important to casino slot operations that creating and maintaining strong bonds with player-customers. Reaching out to them directly at the slot machine promises to be one of the most efficient and engaging methods to do that, and manufacturers have stepped up to the plate with a variety of player interfaces designed to build CRM with players as they’re sitting at their favorite slot machine. This informative session also will focus on new printer and kiosk interfaces that can help a property connect to players in useful and informative ways.

There are many benefits to cashless gaming – particularly ticket in, ticket out – to both player and operator. But implementing cashless innovations such as TITO and wager account transfer creates its own set of challenges, at least at the outset. A panel of operators and manufacturers will offer insights into the keys to a smooth, successful introduction of cashless gaming and how to ensure an efficient post-installation process for handling ticket and printer issues.
